Influential albums in my musical life

In 2018, I participated in a Facebook challenge: post 10 albums that you still love and that have had a significant impact on your (musical) life.
The idea was to post only the album cover, with no explanation. But for me, the explanations are the most interesting part, so I couldn’t resist adding a “short” description for each.

When I quickly put together a list, I immediately ended up with 25 albums. I shared 15 of them on Facebook back then, but the remaining 10 never got their moment in the spotlight.
Now, it’s time to catch up. I’ll start again, more or less chronologically, with the albums I already shared on Facebook and then continue with the rest. This time, I’ll take my time with the stories, digging deeper into my memories.
And who knows? Maybe it won’t stop at 25 albums, because this is such an enjoyable process. It gives me the chance to rediscover the music all over again.
